There will be a $20.00  late fee after the deadline date of June 29th
as per ROAR National guidelines.  No refunds after the deadline date.
One class entry per racer.  Entries  will be limited  to 14 heats.  A
second class may be  entered after  June 29th, if the entry limit has
not been met, on a first-come first-serve basis.

The RAMS Club is proud to announce the hosting of the 2004 ROAR Fuel 'Open' On-Road Nationals located at Mission College in Northern California. The race will be held from July 28th through August 1st.

The track is located 5 minutes away from Paramount Great America amusement park and only 10 minutes away from the airport in San Jose.

Directions from the airport: From Airport Blvd. turn right onto Airport Parkway. Then turn left onto Guadalupe Parkway/CA-87 North. Merge onto US-101 North via the ramp on the left toward San Francisco. Take the Great America Parkway exit toward Bowers Avenue. Turn left at Mission College Blvd. and follow the road to the right to parking lot B.

Directions driving North: From I-5 North merge onto CA-152 West toward Gilroy/Hollister/San Jose. Turn left onto Pacheco Pass Highway/CA-152. Merge onto US-101 North toward San Jose. Take the Great America Parkway exit toward Bowers Avenue. Turn left at Mission College Blvd. and follow the road to the right to parking lot B.



Airports and Hotels

San Jose International Airport (SJC) is the closest to track. More Information can be found on their site, http://www.sjc.org. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is another option which is approximately 30 minutes away from the track (31 miles), http://www.sfoairport.com.

General:

AMBrc personal transponders are required and there will be a limited supply available at the track. This is a ROAR sanctioned event, therefore all ROAR rules apply unless specified and approved by ROAR. Limited Shade, table space, and chairs can be reserved for an additional fee on the entry form. Shade, tables, and chairs outside of those provided by RAMS must be brought with you. Limited power will be available. ROAR membership is required and can be obtained at the track.

You will be able to hear the announcer on FM radio. It will be broadcast on frequency 88.9MHz.

Blue Thunder fuel will be available at the track or you may pre-order fuel using the the entry form. The cost will be $20.00 per gallon.

UPDATE: Horizon Hobby Distributing is introducing a new fuel called White Lightning and it will be available at the track along with Blue Thunder. If you would like to pre-order White Lightning fuel then you can do so on the entry form, but specify White Lightning. If you have already pre-ordered Blue Thunder and would like to have White Lightening instead then just let us know by mailing ramrcpres@yahoo.com. The cost is also $20.00 per gallon.

Enneti tires will also be available at the track for Picco, Mugen, and Serpent 1/8th scale cars. All proceeds from the sale of these tires will go towards the RAMS club to help with the funding needed to host the Nationals. The cost will be $22.00 per set of rears and $18.00 per set of fronts.
